We're building Luceryn because the gap between how AI can help portfolio leaders and how today's tools actually use it is enormous - and closing it changes how programmes get delivered.
Our story
Luceryn was born inside the work - twelve years of it, on both sides of the fence.
On the public side: running a $30M+ enterprise IT portfolio for one of Canada's largest school boards - 200+ sites, 20,000+ users, cloud and cybersecurity programmes delivered under OPS-aligned governance with stage gates, steering committees, and audit-ready everything. Before that, building a college's PMO from scratch out of what had been a project management centre.
On the private side: consulting for a fintech on AWS cloud migrations and payment-platform cutovers - $10M+ programmes with international vendors, SLAs, and go-lives where a bad weekend is front-page news. And years before any of it, managing vendor procurement end to end: the RFPs, the SOWs, the bid evaluations.
Different sectors, same wall. The tools - Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Planview - were built for the project manager, never for the person three layers up who needs to know which of forty-two programmes deserves five minutes this week. So every PMO builds the same spreadsheets: roll-ups, reconciliations, RAID trackers, rebuilt every quarter. That synthesis work is exactly what large language models became good at. Luceryn is what happens when you rebuild the platform from that insight.
The PMO is still the heart of it. But delivery starts with work you had to win and ends with a client you have to support - so the same graph reaches back into a CRM and RFP pipeline, and forward into a service desk. One place, context carried the whole way.
What started as one person's answer to their own Friday afternoons is now a team - building, delivering, and supporting Luceryn with the people who use it.
What we believe
AI augments judgement; it doesn't replace it.
Every AI output in Luceryn is editable, attributable, and shows its reasoning. We're not interested in opaque scoring or hidden ranking. The PMO leader is the decision-maker - we just make the path to the decision shorter.
Reports are a side-effect, not a product.
If your team is spending Friday assembling slides, the data model is wrong. Status reports, executive briefings, and forecasts should be generated from the same project graph people work in all week - and updated continuously.

We ship narrow before we ship broad. Every AI feature has a fallback if Anthropic is down. Every write action is reversible or logged. We'd rather earn a year of confidence than a week of buzz.
Your data stays yours.
Luceryn is single-tenant by workspace and your project data isn't used to train any model. We're an Anthropic API customer - your data isn't visible to them either.
What we're building toward
A world where a portfolio director walks into Monday with their week already triaged - three projects flagged, two recommendations queued, one decision needed. Where the status report writes itself overnight and the human spends the saved hour on the one conversation that changes a project's trajectory.
We're a long way from done. The product you see today is the foundation: a complete PMO at the core, now wrapped by CRM, RFP-to-delivery, and a service desk - AI woven through every module. What comes next is depth - deeper integrations, smarter forecasting, mobile and desktop apps, and an even tighter feedback loop between the AI and the leader using it.
